															Wills & Estates

A will is an up-to-date document that allows a legal process to occur after you pass away. This process involves other people following your instructions on how your assets will be handled. You should update your will after any significant event in your life has occurred such as:
- A birth or death in the family
 - A marriage or divorce
 - A death of a beneficiary
 - A death of the executor
 - A change in your financial circumstances

Wills can also be contested on grounds such as:
- The deceased person promised something in their will to you in exchange for something you did for them.
 - If you have evidence the deceased person was not of sound mind when completing their will.
 - If there is evidence that the deceased person was threatened, pressured or some form of fraud occurred in the making of their will.
 - If the will doesn’t adequately provide for a person who believes they should be.

A person who is named as an executor in a will has a number of legal requirements placed upon them. If this person is grieving the loss of the deceased this process can become overwhelming.
We provide all the necessary services that will manage the funeral arrangements, probate, asset protection, paying of bills or other liabilities, selling assets in accordance with the will, managing tax affairs and finally the distribution of assets to all beneficiaries.
